waltonwagner Sleep Out in Support of Property Charity LandAid
waltonwagner are delighted to have registered for the inaugural SleepOut for LandAid House sponsored by Hammerson and Knight Frank – a charity event with a mission to end youth homelessness.
On 1st March 2018, five fearless members of the WW team (Jane, Nick, Luke, Patrick and Lucy) will be joining over 200 people from across the property industry to spend one night sleeping outside in London’s Old Spitalfields Market in aid of property industry charity LandAid.
LandAid’s SleepOut initiative aims to raise the funds needed to provide three bedrooms in a shared flat in the pioneering LandAid House, which will provide safe, secure and affordable accommodation for hundreds of young people at risk of homelessness every year, for generations to come.
waltonwagner Director Jane Wagner said, “We often take it for granted that we have a warm bed to go home to each night. By joining SleepOut, not only will we help to raise much needed funds, but we will gain some understanding of the issues facing homeless young people.”
Our aim is to raise at least £900 for the charity, so please help us by donating to this worthy cause – every penny counts! By reaching this target, we will have raised funds which could pay for six beds in LandAid House, giving six young people their own space and a safe place to sleep.
